| Jessie L. Myers, resident of Cape Coral, is the Pastor of Greater Love Outreach Ministries, Inc. Jessie began on a mission in his outreach ministry because he wanted to help as many people as he possibly could. He recognized how many people were suffering in these hard economic times and he wanted to make a difference and touch the lives by showing forth God’s Love and kindness.
In addition to ministering, he works with Southwest Florida Teen Challenge Program helping troubled adults as well as teens and providing counseling services and advice to help troubled individuals to overcome alcohol, tobacco, drug use and other mental health problems. He is a Florida Certified Addiction Counselor and a certified teacher obtaining his certification from the Teen Challenge International Ministry Institute. He is experienced with leadership training and has completed the Covenant Crisis Center Induction and training. He is a licensed minister that is often found working long hours, meeting with families and friends, teaching and helping them with whatever crisis they may be facing. He volunteers his time willingly and has a strong belief in second chances and works very hard to transform the lives of others. Jessie has devoted his time to a life-long commitment of learning, educating, teaching and helping others in a crisis.
Jessie’s mission is to help all people, men, women, and children. He knows from experience that individual addictions can be overcome, but individuals often times need professional help and treatments. His experience as a certified addiction counselor has equipped him with the knowledge and training to be able to assist individuals in crisis situations. He is also a certified behavioral health technician, as well as a certified teacher. | | Connie S. Myers, is the wife of Jessie L. Myers and is the Co Pastor of Greater Love Outreach Ministries, Inc as well as the Executive Director of the Lee County Housing Authority in North Fort Myers. She shares Jessie’s mission of helping all people and works with low income housing for low to moderate income individuals since 1996. During this time she has worked in many capacities. Her life experiences, training and education provides her with invaluable knowledge, and experience on a personal level that helps with understanding the needs of many in these difficult times. Mrs. Myers is always willing to go the extra mile to help those that she comes in contact with in her day to day operations. Mrs. Myers is very active in the community and serves as a member of the Lee County Homeless Coalition, Florida Association of Housing and Redevelopment, Public Housing Directors Association and has served as a member of the Family Health Centers of Southwest FL, Dunbar Optimist Club and the Dunbar Chamber of Commerce. Her ability to help others seems to be never ending. Her motivation comes from her inner strength and her kind heart knowing she has helped another person by showing them God’s Love as he has commanded. Her life experiences and kind heart lead her to becoming a licensed Evangelist. She shares Jessie’s passion and is committed to helping all people that are in need. Her conviction, expertise, experience and business knowledge has provided her with invaluable insight to keep abreast of what is going on in today’s society in order to make a different and become a positive influence. | |
